Time Limit? - Guild Wars Forums

At lunch today I played a bit trying to find some more "pre" quests (specifically ranger related) and I was in the area of the map in the far SE area (sorry I don't have the name of the area). I was walking around and found a band of "collectors" that were talking and "hic"ing like they were drunk and were talking about bears. I noticed after I got to them that there was a three minute timer counting down but I had no quests or no other information on why it would count down. I just fought some spiders and waited to see what would happen, but nothing did. It counted down to 0:00 and stayed on my screen until I left that area... Any ideas? I'm stumped...

Drunken bear hunters! If you kill a bear and then return and find the semi sober one he'll give you a hunter's ale. The ale doesn't seem to do anything but make the sceen fuzzy like you were drunk. A joke!

ok.. i had already killed all the bears before I talked to them... I guess that's what threw it off
